Crane Wire Rope Drums are mainly used in new-generation Chinese-style cranes, particularly in the hoisting mechanisms of large-tonnage and high-lift cranes.
CNC machining produces smoother and more precise rope grooves, helping reduce wire rope wear, extend service life, and minimize load displacement.
The drum has a maximum diameter of 3 meters and is manufactured from Q355 steel, providing uniform wall thickness and high load-bearing capacity. Flange-to-drum welds are inspected using ultrasonic testing (UT) to detect potential welding defects. Stress-relieving tempering is also applied to improve structural stability and ensure reliable long-term performance.
